I have a long background of working in foodservice and foodservice sales, having grown up in a 200-year-old country Inn in NH. At the age of 20, I enlisted and served honorably as an Army medic. Then in 1989 I moved to Portland, OR: since arriving here I’ve played trumpet and piano with many of the Portland area’s great jazz musicians and in piano bars as a solo artist. My love and enjoyment of the great Northwest woods also extends to other foraging, archery hunting, and advanced woodcraft. I currently live in Vancouver, WA with my wife Linda.
